"Recent data from the U.S. Department of Education states that less than 75 percent of students nationwide received high school diplomas within four years. This data, along with personal experiences has encouraged Chicago area students to create a proposal that will help increase the number of graduates and discourage their peers from dropping out of high school. They will present their proposal on July 13 to leaders in Chicago and later this month in Washington, D.C. through World Vision’s Youth Empowerment Project."
