Twin Lakes, WI. (Aug,10 2010) Founded in 1989, Dreams for Kids is a volunteer based, registered non-profit 501(c)(3) children’s charity that empowers youth living in poverty and with disabilities.

On Tuesday, August 10th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Mary Beach in Twin Lakes, Dreams for Kids will be hosting it's 11th annual adaptive water sports clinic. Over 60 kids with disabilities and their families will be joining over 50 volunteers and staff of Dreams for Kids for a day of adaptive water skiing, tubing, canoeing, fishing, and a delicious BBQ lunch. The famous Aquanut Ski Team members will also be joining the festivities on this powerful day.

Imagine the possibilities of this day. Most of these children will be participating in the activities for the first time!

Extreme Recess is so important because, “they’re usually sitting on the sidelines watching, this way they can be apart of of it all.”

-Happy mother of an Extreme Recess! participant
