A national men’s conference is coming to Arkansas for the first time this month. The Iron Sharpens Iron event will feature bestselling author Bruce Wilkinson, best known for The Prayer of Jabez, as the keynote speaker. Former National Football League player Don Davis of the New England Patriots will also speak, as will ministry leaders from Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma.

Iron Sharpens Iron, based in West Hartford, Conn., partners with regional ministries in conferences around the country as a way to inspire men. The name comes from Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
