Striking Lilies, Ready for Revival

"THE Turk’s-cap lilies have been blooming for a month now, down by the stream in our woods in Maryland. When I first caught sight of the tall native Lilium superbum, its six-foot stems were full of speckled orange flowers, glimmering through the jungle of multiflora rose, jewelweed and poison ivy."
